Ignite were approached about creating a fitness app in collaboration with Love Island, a cultural phenomenon and impressive brand in its own right.
The Brief: Fun for fans, promtoing realistic goals and body positivity.
The idea was to create a fun and simple way for fans of the show to train alongside their favourites from the Love Island villa. Throughout the app, there needed to be a clear message about being the best version of “you”, promoting realistic goals and body positivity.

The Process: Brand guidelines to concepts & delievry
Beside brand guidelines, we had a lot of flexibility in creating a concept for the app. We were under a tight timeframe to launch the app in conjunction with the show, so we wireframed a “minimal viable product”, with a view to develop the app further immediately after it went live. The roadmap features additional sections including nutrition and mental health.

Launched alongside Love Island 2021, the app has been featured in the Apple App Store and across social media with both JD Sports and ITV. The content will be updated regularly, and we have plans to develop the app further as the subscriber base builds.
